Two new signings from the Woooooooood

Recommended Posts

For an undisclosed fee which will increase by instalments, St Albans City has secured the double signing of Leon Archer and Chris Watters from Borehamwood. The club is delighted to have acquired both players on two year contracts and greatly appreciates the help given by Danny Hunter, the Chairman of Borehamwood in helping to negotiate a sensible deal in the face of stiff opposition from many other clubs. Leon and Chris both starred in Borehamwood's FA Trophy Cup run last year, when they eventually lost out in the semi final to Woking. Leon is a quick and prolific goalscorer whereas Chris is widely considered to be the best left sided player currently playing outside of the Conference

Sad to see Leon and Chris leave the Wood. But you guys have taken two fabulous players. Tricky and quick and lots of goals to boot.

Will have to battle on with what's left.

Still think we will finish in the top half of the Ryman Premier.(hopefully)
