So the game was finally played, was it at Coles Park or at Holmer Green. If it was Coles Park I suppose miracles do happen occasionally such as the imaculate conception and the parting of the red sea, Charlton Heston, sorry Clement Temile style.

The game was played at Holmer Green, unfortunatly Haringey under achieved again on their travels with a poor first half performance leaving a mountain to climb in the second in which we did dominate, like the first half of the edgEware game!!

3praise - Welcome back, did all your family and friends like all those Christmas presents you so generously bought for them, perhaps that could be a clue on who you actually are as if I dismiss the tight wads I know at Coles Park that should just leave one or two people to choose from. What is wrong with the hallowed Coles Park turf at the moment, Josie met my other half in Tesco's the other day and said there hasn't been a game there for about eight weeks, she also said morale is at an all time low at the Club, Iraq and Afghanistan style, with nobody talking to each other.

ha ha Rhodes you do make me laugh!! The Turf at Coles park is going through a transition period at the moment, and the more it isnt played on the better it will be long term for the club! another shrewd move by the man you call "sugar". As for your Claim that there is no morale at the club if their hasnt been a home game for 8 weeks how does Josie know who speaks to who?? i mean its been EIGHT weeks Rhodes, some people get married in that sort of time!!! (i am sure it took mrs Rhodant alot longer to fall for your charms) But if you are asking about the morale at the boro Rhodes, i can safely tell you its like band of brothers in that changing room these days Saving private Ryan Style!!

A most amusing post 3praise which I enjoyed however I get the impression you are trying to deflect some of the attention away from the low morale at Coles Park. I have experienced it first hand as you know and there is never ever a spring in anyone's step down there, everyone has long faces and continually looks on the negative side of things, Roy Fowler style, as opposed to the positive. How you can say that the hallowed turf is going through a transition period and it is 'another shrewd move' by 'Sugar is incredible and would actually indicate that he has purposely been getting games called off which is an offence. Lastly as for my good lady she didn't take very long at all to fall for the Rhodes charm some 20 years ago, it was love at first sight infact.

As we both know, "sugar" would never do anything to stop games from being played, but the work that went on, on the pitch during the summer is a long term thing, and will only get better with time, Rhodes did it ever occur to you that when you was at Coles park, that the only reason people had a "long face" was because they see you was still there? or that you was going to talk to them? i can assure you that if you came to coles park these days it looks like a commercial for colgate with all the smiling hat goes on! especially when the very generous chairman buys the first round!!

Another amusing post but I think very wide of the mark, why would Josie say the place was like a graveyard and nobody talks to each other, the Club should be a thriving hub of activity seven days a week with the bar open making money for the Club hand over fist, everytime I go past the ground on the W3 bus or in a car it brings a tear to my eye to see the gate locked and, as Josie says, the place resembling a graveyard of nearby Tottenham cemetary proportions.

Again i will say.....of course its been "quiet" at Coles Park, there hasnt been a game for 8 weeks! im sure your house is quiet when you go on your annual Pilgrimage to Nigeria to see the Clement Temile Shrine.

I do feel however that you are bending the truth a little and i am almost certain josie wouldnt have said such a thing, with business on match days being better then ever, much down to the constant investment of the chairman!

3praise - You should know full well that I don't bend the truth, why don't you ask Josie yourself when you next see her and I'm sure she will confirm what she told my good lady in Tesco's although it's drizzling again outside so you're probably unlikely to see her for another month or two. As for the constant investment by the Chairman, what is that out of interest, he has certainly got you twisted around his little finger hasn't he.
