Well, here we are - Part 6!!!

Players and staff of Margate FC - you have done us and yourselves proud over the Christmas period. Five points gained and top of the league once again.

There is a decidedly 'blue lump' forming at the number 1 position - let's keep it that way!!!

150% effort in everything you do.

East Thurrock on Saturday - First game of the New Year so lets go there and give it everything.

All your supporters near and far are sensing something magical about this squad - prove us right and COME ON YOU BLUUUUUEEEEESSSS!!

Good luck lads! We all have complete and utter faith in you and we know that you are capable of beating anyone. Keep the ball down and play football (as much as you can on THAT pitch) and show them what we all know...you are the best team in the league! Best of luck!

BLUE ARMY!!

Ah, my old mukka AncientBlue, I can see why people think that we are one and the same.

Indeed when the wise wags of the forum shorten your name to AB, as they are some times inclined to do, I don't know if it is you or me they are chattin about.

As for your taste in women - yeukk! I will send round a couple of my wives on approval!

As to the main issue of this thread - I fear that Saturday will be a toughie for us.

But what better incentive for Trotty and the lads is to avenge last years result! It is time to get our own back - and we are more than capable enough to do it in style!

So you blueboys go out and play your socks off! Bring us back 3 points!

It could be a bit wet I hear but,Gene Kelly ( or Eric Morecambe) like, we could all be Singin in Bah Rain!

Abdullah (twirl of the brolly while stading under a broken drain pipe)!

Ah Abdullah you are too generous. As you can see from my national banner, I am of Cornish origin, to repay your generosity I will send round a crate of pasties and and large carton of clotted cream!

COME ON THE BLUES!

Come on you blues! Remember YOU are top of the league & deservedly so.I still don't think you have peaked yet & that theres still much more in the locker.

A new year is upon us & a second half of the season is still to be got through..You can do even better though & I am looking for a really good score coming our way soon.Could it be Saturday? Maybe, maybe not yet,but do as you have been doing, want to win more than they do & keep things tight at the back.Continue to be forceful & do not be afraid of any opposition. Let them be afraid of you! But never underestimate ANYONE!

Go out & give us all a cracking good start to the new year. Lets STAY top this time, now that we are there again.Let others have the pressure of catching us from now on!

Continue to have the will to win & carry on with the superb football you have played for the majority of the season so far.Its time now to push on & to turn the screw on those breathing down our necks.

You CAN do it,we all know it,Trotty knows it & YOU know it,so go out there & show them just WHY & HOW you are where you are! All the best!

Just keep up the momentum lads, play the way you know you all can and the points will be ours. I no it won't be easy on their pitch but you have it in you to succeed.

Give it everything again tomorrow, and keep your concentration.

Defend the goal like it is the Alamo and try and sneak a goal.

Don't psyche yourself out re: the facilities-its simply another game where you need to come away with at least a point.

Cool heads all round please-lets keep all our team on the pitch, and don't concede so many free kicks.

'Don't concede the nil' and you've got the point.

Good luck

Up the 'Gate
