Hi guys,

 

did any of you boys and girls catch us on Sky last night?

Haven't seen the match yet - a mate of mine has videoed it.

 

From a "neutral" viewpoint, what did you think?

 

We do seemed to have raised the crossbar as far as signings go.

With all respect to our former legends you have, we have gone from an experienced, mid-table side to a young and eager side pushing hard for a play off place.

 

Our problem will be keeping young talent such as McDonald, Moore, Sodje, Ricketts, Cronin, DeBolla, Coleman, Jamie Smith, Purcell - all of whom have youth on their side.

Not convinced myself we will sustain this form , but we are enjoying the form and publicity.

Good result last night for you with Bromley going down to the wombles.

We play them ourselves in 2 weeks in the Trophy, how good are they?

Wimbledon are a better team away. At home they suffer from the fact that it's a big day out for most of their opponents who raise their game in front of the 2,000 or so fans.

 

Having said all that, now that you are in play-off contention, do you care much for the FA Trophy?

Very definately, Coffin Ender. Prize money is always handy at this time of the season.

£5K if we beat Wimbledon, then £6K, £7K for each of the next couple of rounds.

As I said, our position may be a little contrived, especially if those around us pick up any points from games in hand.

Having said all that, our league form is wildly beyond mine and almost everyone else's prediction.

 

However, your league position isn't false, as you have a Conference standard midfield and a striker who scores gols for fun.

Don't let it slip now.

I would ask you to wait for us so that we have a good couple of Conference games (hopefully only in two years time) but there again the thought of another Kent club playing League football is just too good.

 

Here's hoping for that promotion for both of us come seasons end.

You even had 1 ruled out for offside but he was on.

Same conditions we had last saturday weather wise!!

its great CG that you and us are having great seasons , congrats for making sky tv , must think your worth watching or you would`nt be on , and great to see Grays get stuffed again , i did`nt enjoy our meetings with them to many goals going into the wrong end .
