Edgware extend lead to 11 points

Even if I did shout about Kentish Town from the roof tops, which I don't, it would be richly deserved for the giant strides and incredible achievements we have made this season both on and off the field of play. Just take the Clement Temile factor for example, I was just hearing how the Macclesfield players are in total awe of Paul Ince hence them raising their game to new levels week in week out and only being 1-0 down at Chelsea today after half an hour, the same principle applies with us and there is nothing our players wouldn't do for someone they now call 'the messiah' as opposed to 'the great one'.

ok, Rhodes if clement is as good as you say, and is capable of running a successful premiership/national team. What happens one day when they come calling? will the whole stability of the team be rocked with the loss of what you would describe as their dad leaving home?? and how would you be able to get anybody else in to coach that would be get the respect of players once the great one is gone?

Well the response to that is that when we finally do lose 'the messiah' which we will inevitably do one day then current team Manager Frank Zanre will just carry on as normal as he did before 'the messiah' arrived in August. He will be a 100% better Manager for the experience however as we hope to be in the Ryman Premier Division or Conference South by the time Clement does decide to up sticks then there will be no shortage of high profile applicants for his job, albeit not in the same league.

I read an article in a paper whist I was away over Christmas - the gist of which was that unqualified foreign coaches are coming here and taking away jobs from Brits. When they have gained experience they then tend to disappear back to wherever they came from.

The article was not referring to the Premiership either, but concluded that it was as bad for our national game as the taking over of the Premiership by foreigners has been for the National side.

HTFCew - Are you suggesting that 'the messiah' is a foreigner, I don't believe that to be the case, indeed he is as British as Prince Charles.

Who, 'the Messiah' or Prince Charles, surely if he was he wouldn't be eligible to become King of England.

Gavin - Thanks, do you want me to see whether my bookie mate will pay you out now on your bet, some bookies do when teams are a country mile clear and when it's obvious they won't be caught.

Being a civil servant, I thought you would have known the history of our royals:

Prince Philip:
Prince Philippos of Greece and Denmark was born on 10 June 1921 atop a kitchen table at Villa Mon Repos on Corfu, a Greek island in the Ionian sea. His father was Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark, the fourth son of King George I of Greece, his mother was Princess Alice of Battenberg, the elder daughter of the 1st Marquess of Milford Haven (formerly Prince Louis of Battenberg) and his wife, the former Princess Victoria of Hesse and the Rhine.

All the King Georges were German:
King George V is remembered for his role in World War I, during which he relinquished all German titles and styles and changed the name of the royal house from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor

No its ok Rhodes, I dont want to put a jinx on it, though of course if he did pay up I would be £60 better off.

How exactly will we work it out so that I can pay and hopefully get paid for the bet?
