I am assuming Hakim will go anyway and we are unable to tie up anything with Bristol City we will need a bit more than Archer and Martin, 2 more to be precise. Our most urgent requirement is still a holding midfield player. As far as the defence is concerned, we need a further defender to replace Okuonghae/Theobald and that is a ridiculous statement to make about Ben Martin, cig; the bloke has been out injured for the best part of 18 months. At the moment, Elphick and Sangare are clearly our top pairing but perhaps, we should wait and see what Ben Martin can do at this level, once he is match fit.

Boney Maroney: i know my comment seemed a bit upfront, but thats what i was implying because he has been injured for that amount of time i wouldnt feel comfortable woth him coming into that role this season , i personally think we should get another centre back and keep Ben on loan until the end of the season so he is fully ready for next season in the conference wink

It's just like 'Dallas'. When one of 'em stepped into or out of the shower to find that it was all just a dream.

Everything's all right except that Garry Hill and Kevin Hales have left the club by muual consent.

Perhaps there's hope for the Hakim deal after all?

And quite a few of their players have scarpered.

I only took a quick peek at the statement but it did say the funding would be there until the end of the season.

With Hill and some of the players gone the budget will have been reduced so it's possible they could run within their means.

After that, who knows? Another Canvey?

It could be Harrison wil provide the funding until the end of the season, making sure the club has no debts and then it's up to the club to sustain itself.

As you say a bit like Canvey. Question is can they sustain themselves in the Conference.

Looks like he has signed a contract with Grays along with El Kholti from Weymouth.

id like to see Hakim put that other business behind him (surely he should now be thanking his lucky starts that that deal with weymuff fell through)Come on Paul, get your head together and put your skills to good use for the saints. You need to be out there doing the business well for other clubs to notice you anyway!

great to see Paddy Ada back and if Benyon gets sorted and stays things will defintiely be looking brighter.
