Hi cig.

Well if Kidderminster had one of their 'Nationwide network of scouts' at Woking on Monday, they can't fail to have been impressed by Dean 'Jacobs Cream' Cracknell.

And you think that Hakim will go, do you? That will leave Elliot, Lee and Simon which is one short, surely?

For me, we have a major gap wide on the left after the departure of tubbsy, which wont be filled by Matt 'Matty' Hann or Rob 'Rob' Norris. That has to be a priority, I would have thought.

I feel for Chris Seeby who I felt was doing well at right-back at the start of the season. Damian is a class act and Seebs doesn't do it on the left for me. But there will be a lot worse out there.

Centre-back? I like the three fit ones and Ben must be a worry. But Colin has had to mix things around just to find a tighter back four and stop the leakage of goals.

Hmmnn. Who'd be a Manager, eh? It's a bit more complicated than throwing tea-cups, picking the team, standing in the technical area and shouting a lot. Pressure? They don't know the meaning of the word pressure. They should have my job.

The thing about Crackers is he can play superb, like them last couple of games and against York but then he'll have a few shockers, if his consistancy level remains good then he's a major player.

I think Seebs might just need a bit of a rest, to be taken out the firing line for a while so to speak, I agree with AFF there is a lot worse out there!

Centre backs, well Elphick is the man as we know, I'd like another top quality c/b next to him, I'm not 100% sure if Theobold or Magnus are that! As for Ben Martin he needs to get fit, maybe he'll be the answer when fit!

It's times like this we need a reserve team, are we going to have the same problems with Scott Cousins when he returns?

I think we all know we need a left winger!

Strikers, we need 4, we have 4 with Hakim, I certainly wouldn't be too dissapointed if Haks stays, he's a class act after all

First and foremost we need a left sided midfielder, a holding midfielder and if Hakim goes, a quality replacement striker. We could probably do with a further defender as well.

As far as TD is concerned, he is contracted and we would be crazy to even think about letting him go. Weymouth couldn't afford him anyway.

..and much like a cheap sat nav, 'Tom' Tom doesn't go the expected route and can be prone to the odd wrong turn.

Absolute priority must be a holding midfielder to break up play in front of the back 4. Left side midfielder who can get up and down the wing but is strong enough to add some more bite to the middle of the park. Another forward with both strength and pace, to support Benyon. Oh and hadn't we better try and keep Benyon for the rest of the season or even better permanently !

Now confirmed on the main website;

"Leaving Clarence Park is central defender Dave Theobald who has returned to his former club Kettering Town in the Conference North. The popular and consistent defender scored three times during his 25 games for the Saints"

"The future of Paul Hakim remains unclear but at this time he remains a St Albans City player although injury is again likely to rule him out of Saturday's match with Northwich."

Still no news on Benyon though!
