Remy & Kola - Now we know how! - FIFC

Massive credit to Folkestone for finding these additional members to their board of Directors(see link below). They see they are in a predicament & are doing something about it.

I wondered how suddenly it was within their means to keep these two players whereas only a few weeks ago they couldn't find the money to retain their services. Now we know!

Thankfully we don't have to meet them again this season so hopefully their form will be on the up again & bring them valuable points & at the same time do us some favours on the way.

I think an improvement in their results wont be too long in coming now!

You have to respect them & give them much credit for changing a downward trend & thoughts of survival into an upward surge & hopefully for them an imminent revival.

The financing for the return of the players came from the supporters club and, not the new directors according to thier MB.

And one interesting comment from East Thurrock is that Ellis Remy would only need to train once a week with Folkestone, gets "more than twice expenses" and a signing-on fee. The manager at ETU said we would have liked to work with Remy for longer.

I find it very hard to believe that the supporters cash alone would be able to finance both Remy & Kola Steve PLUS the slight possibility of paying for a return of Dryden & Wattata.How come they couldn't pay for them about 6 weeks ago.Did the supporters club suddenly have a cash injection?.

I'm not saying its not so as I am not in the know, (have read the ONE post mentioning this) but you have to admit its very co-incidental that once these new Directors had played their hand the return of the " The two" came about.If indeed the supporters club HAVE found the money to finance these two players for the rest of the season then they really do have to be applauded.
