Happy new year guys. Well as we are playing, we are probably not ready for promotion yet, as neither the ground nor fanbase would support such a venture.

However, stranger things happen, and a play off place cannot entirely be ruled out.

Of course, a good cup run helps these things financially, and we are pants in the FA cup, but we are not too bad in the Trophy, and we have a lucrative 2nd round game v AFC Wombledon in 2 weeks. Hopefully a 2000+ gate for that and a £5000 prize if and when we win.

Oh, and we are on Sky Sports 1 Wednesday night v Grays.

Should be a good match - sadly I'm working.

It is great to see Kent sides (gills excepted) doing so well, would be great if Welling and yourselves get promoted and we get to the play offs.

It's about time SE England got sdome fgavourable football publicity.

Sorry to disagree Cookie - Wellings gate was actually 954 and it really was cracking entertainment! Just a shame that there wasnt more football around especially after the bufferting we all endured on Saturday!

It's down as 354 in the national press, so I presume the Conference or Press Association gave out the wrong figure.
