I think you'll find that all matches played so far have been as scheduled. No mention of any groundsharing as yet & anyway as far as I know the pitch may not yet be turned so home games will be as planned if that be the case.I believe March was mentioned as the date for the pitch turn around if indeed it were to be turned.Last time I was informed there has been no concrete decision made on as to whether the pitch will actually being moved around or not. My guess is that its highly likely it will remain where it is with a few tweeks here & there,if you get my meaning. Building works I believe would begin after the season has concluded on the stadium again i.m.o. Obviously thats just my thoughts on whats happening in the future but it would be nice to know officially exactly what IS on the agenda. Five-a-side pitches were due to commence very soon but have had no mention about that since getting that information from the chairman.

I.m.o.I can see us seeing out the season with the scheduled fixture list as it is advertised.

Maybe someone knows more & can correct me on my assumptions.

It would be appreciated I'm sure if the club could update us on these things at more regular intervals. Hopefully we might hear something soon. Who knows! Lets hope so. But anyway we have to concentrate on the footballing side of things until such times & we must focus on that however hard it is to have the ground development in the back of our minds.

Good question Chris. Its getting a bit annoying now all these delays etc. After all this time things should have been in place & ready to go surely WITHOUT anymore delays. If indeed it HAS been put back 8 months does that mean we go ANOTHER season without ground improvements? I take it in that case that groundsharing is a complete non-starter after all.

Again something OFFICIAL needs to be said,& soon I feel!,with questions being answered like ,"is it EVER going to happen" or "are we being told porkies". Even "why are these delays continually occurring" or "what are the REAL reasons for putting things of again & again"

We cant be accused of not being patient or wondering!

Anyway as I mention above until such times or whatever year it is we get this stadium underway its this years on field activities we have to concentrate on.

Not directly linked to our stadium but a general comment...

The one thing that really always puzzles me on issues like this is: why is it that the quality of the ground dictates which league you can play in and not the quality of the team on the pitch itself? I know you could not have any old ground hosting Conference football matches but surely Hartsdown Park in its current state would be more than up to the job of ConfSouth, perhaps with just a few minor improvements needed. There isn't any need to demote a club because of their ground if it needs a just few small improvements, the main over-riding thing should be that the players on the pitch are good enough to be there, and so should stay there.

As far as I can see it always comes down to just one thing....................MONEY
