OK, my take on this game is we just about deserved a point and but for some feeble attacking could have had all three. Can someone explain to the players that when we're playing in a swamp we don't treat it like a bowling green and try and play short passes and dribble our way into goal. Also we looked a little lightweight up front with Norris, Hann and Benyon. We need a bit of beef to muscle our way through in games like this.

 

Otherwise, mistakes were down to a minimum, though not sure about their winning goal as it was difficult to see exactly what happened. A much improved performance overall (imo) but we're still not making our own luck; maybe on New Year's Day?

I think we deserved all three. Played much the better football and I thought we adapted to the pitch well. My mate who supports Exeter actually had the good grace to apologise for the result. I would call it daylight robbery except it was too dark for that. Once again good entertainment though, but 'we' really do need to start racking up some points soon - otherwise it's going to get hopeless!

I think that we played well enough to earn at least a point today especially during the second half.

 

I don't agree with some of the negativity. It's not that long since we got 2 wins and 2 draws from 4 games. If we could put together a similar run again we would be looking fairly comfortable.

 

I am still amazed that we can compete with teams with the resources of Exeter. We may not always be as quick and as strong as some of the full time teams but still manage to play good football. I though that we were the better footballing team today.

 

It is to the credit of Lippi and the players that we are still in with a good shout of staying up.
