Apparently not Steve. According to some wisemen from the County TOWN of Essex it is necessary to be well supported to win promotion which is why Yeading did so poorly two seasons back. Indeed they feel so strongly about this matter that they constantly lobby for additional points to truly reflect the benefit of their superior away support.

Ohh I didn't realise the attendance table is taken into consideration at the end of the season as well. We must thank them for boosting our average attendance today, I hope they weren't to shocked being so close to the pitch

Blah , translates as 'we won our cup final , but our support is shocking and our local rivals outnumbered us'

A quick scroll through the soppybox seems to indicate that, in the main their supporters think that; with the right conditions, a decent referee,a couple of grafters in the team, a proper keeper, Fiston and I think John Terry was also mentioned, they would've drawn against us and will win the league!! Priceless!!

Most on there seem to accept that on the day Ricky were worthy winners , why cant you just leave it at that .

Oh dear 'o' dear! The wind, the rain, the pitch, the slope, the ref, the ground, the size of the bar, the walk from the car, the distance from Chelmvey,lack of running track, proximity of spectators to the pitch, goalkeepers, being able to stand in the dry, covered teracing all round, being able to smoke and take in bottles with lids on, all contributory factors that conspired along with the solar system to defeat them!!
