Having been reading you forum for the past three years I have got to know what (you think) makes one team better than another.

I can now say we are officially better than you. When you played Tonbridge the crowd was 577, today 580 saw the spectacle. Obviously Ramsgate are bigger and better than you.

Embarrassing- imagine if your game was called off with 20 mins to go and you were winning, imagine the amount of moany letters the FA, Isthmian league and Jim'll fix it would receive!!!!

Anyway lets be honest here.If my team were winning 2-0 against 10 men & the game was abandoned I too would be miffed.I can well understand the Ramsgate fans being annoyed & hard done by.I thought on a few occasions today that our game might go the same way both at 0-0 & 1-0 up.Its only natural to delight in your rivals misfortune as it would have been by ramsgate fans towards us had the tables been turned.

If you are good enough then you will beat them next time anyway though a bog might not be available to you next time.Could be closer next time without your favourite surface(just banter, just banter).

Rob,occasionally you make sense. Today you let yourself down. Okay,according to your figures for today you have not one,not two,but 3(fans) up on us. Wow!! You really are desperate to claim superiority arent you?

The rivalry will continue & its a good thing because where both clubs are trying to out do each other & trying to stay one ahead of the other,at the same time that rivalry & desire to put in better performances than the other go towards keeping us both near the top of the table(Us being top of course).It keeps both sets of players on their toes! Thats good!

Rob,just one thing,its home support you have to look at not the away figures.Nevertheless if you want to go over away attendance figures for ALL games so far & not just the odd one where you out number us(a rarity of course) & compare your away attendance figures compared to ours then we can. No,it wouldn't look good for you would it?

Still if you really think that you are better than us then go ahead & believe it. Its the final standings from ON the pitch at the end of the season that will decide once & for all who has proved over a season to be the number one club. Bare that in mind when trying to get one over on us.But thats your right & you must get what lifts you can when you can.I understand that.

Happy new year Rob B! You are going to need a lift this year.I predict that you will crumble before we do!(please quote me on that when the time comes)

Still I doubt you will have read this far down to take note of it anyway!

Rob, when Mark phoned me to say the game was called off I thought it was funny, as he would had done the other way round.

 

After taking the p1ss (again as he would)I did agree with him that it was an absolute disgrace.

 

As for the Rams forum, it isn't used much is it, even with the players being aloud to post on it

Sensible sport your having a laugh,from what iv read its all about slaging another LOCAL team off,yes LOCAL team with LOCAL players ,and i was the one who was verbley abused in the first place. What about freedom of speech ,[CANT TAKE IT ]xx


Webby, word of advice - do your homework before hijacking a topic and then firing your own abuse at people who have been on here a LOT longer than you.

Webby i have got this weird feeling that you are a Ramsgate fan and this why;

 

You come on here making us sound like a bad club and therefore trying to stop people watching Margate, because we have done the same thing to Ramsgate and rightfully so. We are not saying that Ramsgate supporters are thuggish they just have a few that can be abusive (every club has) and they have chavs they turn up to the big games wanting to cause trouble.
