Harefield v Ruislip Manor

Match abandoned after 51 minutes due to a waterlogged pitch after a torrential biblical stylee deluge. Hares were leading 2-1 at the time having scored either side of half time after Aaron McLeish White gave Manor the lead. Apparently neither side was particularly keen on coming out for the second half.

It's just a pity that Harefield don't have a tea bar on the ground!

 

My half time coffee got very diluted walking back to Manorborn and Lato and my good lady stayed in the clubhouse eating chips while phoning me on the mobile to find out if the game had been abandoned!

 

We went to Harefield once again

To play 'old enemy' in the rain.
