Was Jim Ward at the same game?

In today's Local, some of his comments just baffle me.

1. We outpassed Margate all game.......NO

2. We defied the critics who say we are long specialists...........NO

3. We troubled their keeper all game.........NO

4. There's no doubt we deserved to win.........NO

Obviously all the above is just my opinion, but I just think that this is further proof that this guy is obviously constantly drunk.

I thought the same as you did Michael when I read that. But as you say he's just talking up his own team & trying to make them look better than they were. They did play the ball around nicely on occasions but then so did we.Especially after they had equalised. I thought they were just happy to have equalised & not to be losing the game. The longer the game went on the more passing,as we are used to seeing,we were doing,& I'm sure had the game gone another 10 minutes we may well have improved on our score as we were then in the ascendancy in the last 10 minutes of the 90 I thought. They certainly backed off after that equaliser.I thought they passed slightly better than us on a few more occasions but certainly not all game.As for the long ball. They tried umpteen times to plant that long ball just over Trotty & Pats head for someone to run on too.Luckily Trotty & Pat dealt with those ball adequately as they did with those long throws of theirs.Never missed ONE header away from those throw-ins. Other teams are going to snuff out the long throw of theirs just as our players did & then they will be at a loss as to which tactic to use next. The same applies to Dover who have the same style of play with the long ball & long throw in & you can all see how they have been sussed out now.

Lots of long balls from BOTH teams.

The only thing he didn't mention & I thought was true was that they had territorial advantage over us but then being at home & a goal down that was a natural reaction I thought. We weren't in awe of them but we really didn't show the stuff we are really made of on the day & that was disappointing but the draw despite our loss of true form on the day was more than satisfying.

Scott had more saves to make its true but no way "all game". In fact probably about 4 or 5 real saves more all game.

As for the result it was undoubtedly a FAIR ONE".

And did you see Jim and Danny Ward in (well for some of the time) their technical area? Every decision that went against Ramsgate was a travesty! That sort of animation does get broing after a very short while, doesn't it? Thank goodness neither of them are in the Margate technical area!

I do think Ramsgate put pressure on the Margate goal but we had the better chances with both Hockton in the first half which hit a bump and tock a nasty jump off to the left and Dolton in the second half which with a little bit of composure may have been closer. Fair dues to Ramsgate but it's just unfortunate they all need a trip to the wizard of oz for a brain they have the heart and courage just disapointing they felt the need to slag off fellow players.

Just what you would expect from a manager who knows that his team played there best BUT could not beat us even when we played under par.He is an obnoxious TWAT,always has been, always will be.Lets face FACTS here,he is just waiting for an offer from another team with a bit more money, then he will be off, like he did B4.

Grays? Ha! Its not April fools day is it! NO its New year! That never was an option besides if it was it wouldn't have been for the money it would have been to inflate an ego firstly & foremost!, though the extra money certainly would have been an added attraction.Jim HAS done wonders at Ramsgate I'm not doubting that but going up two grades or more with a different type of team to which he has moulded & is used to is a few steps to much I reckon. Maybe even IF there WAS an approach, that was ONE reason why he refused to go & not because of loyalty to Ramsgate.Maybe he realised his limitations.

Don't believe ALL that you are told Rob! Just like Jim exaggerated your teams dominance over us he has exaggerated approaches to him for his services.Do you honestly believe if he HAD had an offer from Grays he wouldn't have taken it.Think about it!

Now Rob,apart from word of mouth what proof do you have that Grays actually came in for him?

You prove it to me & I might begin to think it actually happened.

No way did Grays offer him jack s--t,its just that BIGHEAD thing with him,it goes with his egotism, along with his wasteline and his hat size,If they had belive me you would not have seen his ass in a desert dust storm, and you know how they can be,if not asks AB,he who comes from such parts?

Not JUST a name of a football club in the above quote this time Rob.I think it was well understood what you meant first time round.Trying to be clever isn't easy sometimes is it?

Nothing wrong with trying to get people from all areas to go along & watch Alex & maybe you are right in part with your comment.I cant begrudge Jim trying to get people there but they really do have to get their house in order first.Couple that with an environment that provides more comfort(i.e.covers on stands),then the number of visitors may well increase. That last part is down to the Ramsgates management team.Jim Ward can only do so much to get people there even if it does include a biased & untrue(in the main) report.
