any one had trouble loggin in

My dad has problems login in he automaticely gets on fans focus but as soon as he comes on to this forum hes loggin details are not accepted, cant seem to get a reply from admin either. Anyone help its since the forum was updated

I've just got home & no problems here,mind you I keep myself logged in all the time anyway.Only on the rare occasion do I have to log in again.I do think a few other links arent up to working order yet though.Try to get your dad to e.mail or p.m. for help again. I think theres a thread at the top,on the main page,*(see below)* that asks anyone to state their problem if they have one & obviously your dad has.

On this one it doesnt take me directly to the Gate forum direct which is annoying.

I get on ok though.

My 'complaint re: the modified forum is it does not highlight unread postings-anyone know how to get around that one.?

 

Overall though, have to say am very grateful to the forum-we would miss it if it was not there !!!

It does still highlight in (RED) Michael on mine.I think this new format just needs getting used to.If anyone still has the right column(chat) showing might I suggest they do away with it.The forum then looks similar to that from before then anyway.

What link were you using? If the link is www.fansfocus.com/margate - then you should come straight through. Sadly some links are direct to the forum, which is incorrect as these can alter.

Please advise me on the link and I will correct if it is at our end.

Managed to get rid of right hand margin,and changed background to more appropriate blue, but not getting latest postings highlighted.

 

Have sent email of to admin. but if anyone has got an idea how to fix it would be welcome.

Have you logged in Michael?? If so you should be getting the (red). STAY logged in once you have done so, so you need not have to log in again when you put your computer on & visit the forum.

and you can change a few things incl about 5 choices of background colour.

Is it just me and i am hallucinating,or has the left hand margin got wider this morning ?

 

Got rid of the right hand margin ok, but left hand margin seems very wide this morning.

 

Anyone know how to reduce the width ?
