Burger Bar

The queue for the burger bar on tuesday were a joke, just like every match day. At the Oxford game the away supporters had 2 burger bars and once again we had to put up with 1. When we play AFC Wimbledon the same will happen again. So why do we have to queue for ages at 1 burger bar when they will have 2, even though there will be more supporters in the home end?

There was no burger bar at the away end on tuesday.

 

We want more people to turn up but we can hardly manage the people that we currently have.

And people can't understand why attendances at Stonebridge Road are so poor!

Whilst the above may not be the only reason, but it is another example of how poorly home supporters are treated when they attend matches at Stonebridge Road.

Having eaten at the burger bar before, it's always an improvement when it's not there

At dagenham & redbridge the tea/burger bar serves both sets of fans,why not have the away bar next to the main stand serving from two sides to both sets of fans.

where does it say any where about a burger bar in the away end on tuesday? typical harry jumping in before reading first

I think the point Harry was making is that the fact that there were no food and drink facilities at the Swanscombe End contributed to the length of queue at the main burger bar....

thing is though its true, we cant manage what weve got, i and many others i know take my own pie etc in to the ground coz we cant be arsed to que up fo 10-15 mins whilst the match is on. i presume the club get a cut of the profits or is it just ground rent they get. if its the latter then do they really care

the point is, its not worth having an away burger bar when we have only a small number of away fans, but if the away burger bar could serve both sets of fans maybe everybody would be happy.
