I am somewhat shocked ryan, A polite posting!! I was expecting a ruder retort. The swifts were the first team to 'spoil' a game and hack at everyone, and defend at all costs. We found it difficult, especially with the cynical style of tackling. The later part of the second half they became tired and we ran them ragged.

 

If Riccay can keep the game tight and stop the free flow of football we play, we will struggle. If they tire, and the game becomes open, you will loose.

A lot of anger being expressed by our Claret chums I see; and they've even rolled old Sydney out for a bit of backup! Do I hear the gentle "pop" of arses twitching from the direction of Melbourne? They've only beaten one club from the top half of the table away from home all season, and that was H&R back in August! They lost at Margate and at Horsham. Whilst their league position dictates that they shouldn't be underestimated, it comes on the back of a run of 9 out of 10 consecutive league games against teams from the bottom half of the table. When they eventually came up against a better side on Boxing Day they scraped a last minute draw. They've already blown the "certain six points" they were gonna have off us. You can see why the nerves are starting to show!
