LIAM MORE PROACTIVE

Recommended Posts

Having been critical in the past I think it fair to post that in my opinion Liam has been far more proactive this season in making substitutions when needed rather than meaningless ones late on or when it is too late to influence the game.

We seem to be using a tactical change far more often than last year. For example introducing Keelo when he still had time to do something on Tuesday was a good move imo and Liam seems to be far more willing to change individuals earlier than last season to either introduce fresh legs or new ideas.

Incidently I stood with the Crawley supporters first half and some of the racist songs coming from a group of about 12 of them was pretty strong stuff and the only time the stewards said anything to them was when they started singing about pa***s running the club...they then changed it to asians!

However then having heard some of the abuse that the steward at our end got in the second half what chance have they got? Can't see why they would want to carry on doing the job for a tenner and get all that unless they are one the ones like the the Mum's with kids in push chairs who seem to do nothing much to earn their money.

I just hope we don't get any real bother at a game that needs sorting.

It was also interesting to note the rather bizarre 'semi-segregation' in evidence at Tuesday's game. Surely if a game is going to be segregated in any fashion, it needs to be done so fully?
