Good Luck in the League - Part 5 (Revenge of the Trott!!)

Boxing Day has gone! You can forget about that game and hopefully we will not have to play on that disgraceful pitch again for some time!

You have fought well and showed, even with injuries' that you will continue to battle. This is a tiring time of year to play football but you still have the qualities to be a Conference team (stand up and be counted Jimmy Jackson, superb finish!). I heard no negatives from Tuesday and the mood amongst your support is buoyant and positive.

We know you can go up, we know you can win this League. Folkestone at home on Saturday - you know what to do, so go and do it then you will know your glass of bubbly or can of beer or even Coke will be raised on Sunday night to Margates winning season.

Just think of it.....

.....Ryman Premier League Champions 2006/2007..............MARGATE!

Happy New Year to the players and staff of MFC and to everyone on the forum from Tony T & Family!

Come on lads, you still have my full backing as usual, lets fire on all cylinders against Folkestone and get 3 points under our belt thus keeping up the challenge at the top of the table! Great strike from my man Jimmy yesterday smile

Well we turned them over down there, and that damn nuisance Walid Matata who always did his best to rain on our parade has departed, hopefully we can put in a really good performance on Saturday and do them at Hartsdown. The said really good performance might also go some way towards encouraging the moaners and stay-aways to return and really support the team as they should.

This may be come back to haunt me but Michael I think you are disallusioning yourself with Remy. You seem to have a "thing" about both Remy & Standen. With the deepest respect I think you are way off on both counts.

Still, its your opinion & you are entitled to it!

Incidentally Tony T why is this thread entitled "Revenge of the Trott"? Did we not beat Folkestone 5-1 at their place.Wheres the revenge or am I missing something here with your meaning of it? Not having a go just curious!

Sorry going off thread.

Good luck you Blues. Need some improvement from the Ramsgate game but I am sure you are ready to show that improvemnt on Saturday.Definately a game we HAVE to win!

2006 saw us get stability and then start to go places! We've had a lot of good days since August and it would be good to finish the year with a flourish!

It doesn't have to be 5-1 (though, it can be more if you want!). A couple of goals win would be fine and lead us into 2007 and a tilt at the title!

Abdullah!

If you read back, i'm nicking and bastardising Star Wars titles! Obviously, this is with a little poetic licence! I'll try and keep the bit in brackets making sense from now on!

Not many "good luck" messages on here for this game. Is that because people are getting fed up with giving them or are most just EXPECTING our team to turn up & win handsomely without the need for encouragement.

Dodgy ground!!(not as in deadwood this time).

Looking at the table - we need goals as well as results! May well be very close and goal difference will be a major factor come April.

Danny, Jimmy, Pinns and anyone who feels it coming - get your shooting boots on and give us goals!!!

Thought i'd give it another go.

Vital game.

Win essential to get the 3 points to keep up average of 2 points per game.

Give it absoluteley everything , lets get a record home win, get the goal difference improved and show the Thanet public what a great team you are.

Don't concede the nil

Up the 'Gate
