Good I would have hated to but 1p in Deadwood pocket and missed something. Visiting one's mother on Boxing Day does have some compensations after all.

Thanks for asking Bob she is very well considering that she has now gone totally blind. It is possibly the worst thing that could happen to anyone who had a love of reading etc.

All a bit of an anti-climax to be honest. Poor game, we never played the football we are capable of. Hockton clearly wasn't fit, he would have buried that chance on most occasions. And Dolton should have put that one away at the end. First half I thought we were hanging on for a lot of it, and couldn't believe we didn't concede. But thought we probably just shaded the second half.

Overall, we had the better chances, and should have won the game. Although I am content with a point at Deadwood. I'm not sure what happened to all those who said they would stand with the choir and sing. Granted, we were probably louder than normal, but, still, we could have been SO much louder with the number of fans we had.

Anyways, onwards and upwards, roll on Easter Monday!

Joseba you didn't really miss a thing - again just when there is a good crowd we never take. control of the match. Consequently its points lost at the end of the day.

 

Abbott played a blinder, no I got that wrong , he played blind!
