Firstly, I would once again like to wish all the staff and players at Margate FC a very Merry Christmas!!

 

OK, now you're fed up of turkey already, you may have noticed that there is a very slightly important fixture to be played on Boxing Day! And i'm not talking about Man Utd v Wigan!

 

One word, RAMSGATE

 

One piece of advice - Full, unadulterated 150% effort!

 

We are all behind you, we shall all be there (even my missus!) Come on you Blues, beat the Reds and reclaim your place on top of the league!

 

Ramsgate, BRING IT ON

Absolutely! Time to really show our worth on a big local stage,the "deadwood stage".

Come on guys you are so much better than Saturday.

Time to really turn it on on Tuesday.You know how much this game means to us fans.

Its going to be real tough as they wont want to lose this one & thats where we have to be just as keen to win this game. We have to match their enthusiasm,their desire to win & their workrate.

No shying out of tackles,full blooded 150% effort. Include in that the tremendous footballing ability you have shown this season & we are onto a winner.

Get stuck in (they wont like that) but don't get a red & play them off the park as we know you are capable of.Stand up to their advances & beware the long throw,their MAIN weapon.They will be going all out at breakneck speed but you have the class & maturity to overcome that,to slow things down if you need to (that will also knock them off their stride.)

Forget their home record it means nothing on Tuesday.

We have to go there in the right frame of mind & to assert our authority right from the off.

Keep up the momentum for the full 90 minutes plus,be ruthless & get in THEIR faces.Don't panic in defence,play the simple ball but be DIRECT & POSITIVE & lets go out there & take the game to them.They aren't so good on the back foot.

Lets really put them in their place once & for all.

You are more than good enough so don't freeze on the day,show them,show the people of Thanet just how good you really are & give us some magic!

This ones for you & for the club,but most of all do it for your fans please!

If you WANT this enough,as we do,then the victory should follow.

Instill into your minds that for the one day you are not just Margate players but Margate PEOPLE!

We believe in you so go out there & believe in yourselves!!! Good luck too(that helps also).

Everyone to be at the top of their game.

 

Keep your cool,and lets keep 11 Margate players on the pitch for the whole game.

 

No stupid/unecessary free kicks conceded please.

 

Don't concede the nil.

You as a team have the quality to be 2 leagues above where you are now , there`s nothing to prove on Boxing day as you have already proved that you can play some special stuff when needed to all us Margate fans , this game is about a bit of heart & soul and you all seem to have plenty of that at the mo , so 11 blues with the HEART and SOUL = win . Up the Gate i can`t wait till we give the Rams a spanking .

Yes,they have come a long way but we HAVE to have MORE desire to win than they have today.For once non-Margate bred players have to believe, be focused,& WANT to WIN more than their local opponents today.Believe that this is YOUR town today & is not just a place of employment.That will be the difference between victory & defeat!

Come on you guys get stuck in there & WANT it!!!!

If you have the right attitude it helps no-end & generally you get out of a game what you put in!!

We know you will give it all so go out there & show them just what a good team you are! This is your chance to really shine to show who's boss on the day. Don't blow that chance!

Another first 45 like that at Worthing & we shall be winners! Keep up the momentum in the second half & we could run amok! A real drubbing against an opponent has been coming for a while now so why not today!! Of course I doubt a drubbing will come about today, but if you just believe that should you put your best foot forward,it IS an outside possibility.

Nothings taken for granted & it will not be easy but if you play with your hearts you will be half way there!! Use the skills today that you have in abundance & the rest should come!

If you give it your all & still lose out then though greatly disappointed we couldn't ask for any more of you!

The balls in your court! But we are there supporting you in all that you do!
