full time 2-1 and a good start to the xmas games....437 in the crowd and macca man of the match sponsored by digger the cat...well done diggsy and thanx..

Good all round game, one of the better matches this season. We dominated the first 15 mins and had two good chances which went a miss. A bad knock to Jamie, changed the game. Mark had a good shout for a penalty, which was waved away, a truely shocking decision.

Ware had one chance on goal and I must say scored a real cracker.

 

Half time with no changes. The same domination led to a well worked goal, long ball from Danny which was knocked on, up popped Simon Parker at the back post, GOAL.

More urchins pressure paid off, with a set piece where Macca popped up and a deserved 2-1 lead. Lots of late pressure from Ware but nothing much to write home about.

There were some good alround performances from the Team. I would have liked to have named a number of players as the man of the match, but Macca made some important interceptions and never put a foot wrong, which topped off a great performance with the winning goal.

It was a pleasure to award the man of the match to Jim McFarlane.

Sorry I missed the knees-up but I've got the lurgi. Had to dash home for a pint of LemSip and an early night. Whatever my state of health I shall be available for what will presumably be our last away match score update service on Boxing Day. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

urchinboy01 can you change your name to 'not the real Urchin Bou' 'cos I keep getting confused.

 

As has been said above, good attendance considering time of year and all. Was quite funny walking past the Sony store in lakeside with a huge crowd of blokes watching West Ham with no women in site! Not a bad game, but a good result. Nite alll
