Kentish Town - a "community" club?

NeutralFan - And I didn't think you took that much notice when we met at Lowfield, I'm impressed.

Potters Bar Town - Well I'm not afraid to admit to a man being attractive, David Ginola style, but obviously that's as far as it goes, mind you NeutralFan was a fine specimin and I hope he can make it to Lowfield on 31 March.

Potters Bar Town - Haven't you got any work to do today or are you at home, I took today off as we 'were' due to play Brimsdown Rovers this evening but it has just this second been called off due to the hallowed Goldsdown Road turf being waterlogged, you are the first to know incase you had been thinking of coming down.

I'm at work. Just had an unusual bit of spare time this morning so popped on here for a bit of light relief. As for Brimsdown this evening, it wasn't at the top of my shortlist but was in danger of climbing higher with games being called off left, right and centre.

You'll have time to answer all those outstanding questions then, like:

I thought that the purpose of KTFC was to provide football and a future for the underpriviledged residents of Kentish Town? I'm sure that in the past you have likened yourselves to Yorkshire CCC, but that seems to have been forgotten.

Well I would have had no objection to buying you a pint, indeed I'm sure if we do meet on a one to one basis you will come clean as to your real thoughts about 'Sugar' and the situation at Coles Park, I certainly don't believe what you continually post on here as, reading between the lines, you do seem to have the best interests of the Club at heart and want to see them progress in leaps and bounds.

No, Mr Wade from Brimsdown Rovers thinks they can accommodate us in two or three weeks, again on a Wednesday night, this Saturday is no good as that's when it was originally brought forward from presumably because Enfield are playing there.

Rhodes - you ignored this yet answered the question following it. Here is it again in case you missed it.

And I'm waiting for the list of Ryman clubs that, in addition to Wingate & Finchley, wanted Rhodes to be their Secretary. (Not to mention the fact that I've been waiting over six months for Gregg or Frank or whoever to respond to my e-mail!).

Our match with Brimsdown has been pencilled in for Wednesday 21 March, I will confirm soon. Regarding Lee Scott I'm not sure whether the Club's concerned will want me to divulge on here that they showed an interest in his services so I had better not risk it but rest assured that during December in particular the phone never stopped and I have it on good authority that our postman was on treble time. As for the Ryman Club's who were after my services other than Wingate and Finchley I never said that there were a huge number however I gather Potters Bar Town were certainly another. Regarding our Community projects, we have more than one on the go and whereas our main aim is, as you say, to provide football activity for the residents of Camden the Africa arm has been introduced in partnership with Pinnacle College who are funding the operation so we are not fully in control. Lastly regarding SteveR's question, it was obvious to everyone, other than him it seems, that Claremont Road would get a stay of execution for the whole of this season and I wouldn't mind betting that the famous old ground is still standing in April next year.
