Blues vs Ashford match updates on Saturday!

I hope the match will go ahead tomorrow as it forms part of Saturday Sport on Radio Kent. Yours truly will be braving the M25 and all those poor soles trying to get to Heathrow tomorrow afternoon - team news as soon as its available at around 2:20, and goals as they go in throughout the afternoon... And the first interview with Trotty and a player after the game between 5:00 and 6:00... I even think that Wellsie will have one ear on us for updates...

 

And of course comes Tuesday - if you cant get to Southwood for whatever reason, we'll have full match commentary on 774 mediium wave from just before kick off at 1:00 even though the Boxing Day Sports Show doesnt actually "officially" start on FM until 2:00pm...

I shall be at the game myself, but had I not been able to make it, I'd certainly be listening to Wellsie rather than that crap that is broadcast on Radio Kent. Top of the league and surprise surprise they come crawling back.

Have to say had the misfortune to be driving back home from Crayford this afternoon so thought I would listen into Radio Charlton (Kent). After 20 minutes tuned the radio into Invicta instead.

 

Do you know what never heard the score on either station at all . Yes mentions about Charlton (are they really in Kent) but absolutle nothing about Margate.

 

Next time will not even bother (this will probally be Boxing Day as am in Sutton) so will just wait till I get home to find out result.

 

I seem to remember that we have only seen 1 BBC local radio truck at HDP this season and that was Radio Essex for the Chelmsford match.

 

What a usless service they (BBC Radio Kent) provide to the licence payers of Kent. We should get a refund due thier inept unproffesional and non local interest.

What planet are you all on it was'nt all that long ago the Dover fans ect where moaning. All you hear is margate on rk. Who gives a toss the top nl clubs are Gravesend and 2nd, that kent team Welling. That leaves us four behind Charlton?, Gills Gravesend Welling and what makes us better than Bromley the Angels or Dartford. We are starting to sound like the Dover supporters. All i care about is our team doing well. Could not care if i dont hear it on rk.
