How about the country classic...........

 

Distant Drums by Jim Reeves? or

 

Little Drummer Boy by The Pipes and Drums and Military Band of the Royal Scots Dragoons Guards? or

 

Drummerman by Tonight or perhaps could I suggest.....

 

Silence is Golden by The Tremeloes?

 

You could always put a festive 'spin' on it and play/sing Silent Night.

There must be hundreds of football songs, too numerous to list here. But, in keeping with the spirit of the responses, and to try & cheer up old Scroogey in the festive season, I'll nominate The Talking Drum by King Crimson from the Larks' Tongues In Aspic album....a classic.
