Blackburn manager Mark Hughes has spoken out today about consigning Boxing Day matches to history. He should try moving to ESL. We've been asking for festive fixtures for years, but the league are just not willing to play ball.

Would love a Boxing Day game, but I think it is the clubs who don't want it..well most anyway, well certainly Terry Beck if he was still playing, but not over Christmas of course...oh bollox..Nurse? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

There was an email that went round to refs asking if they would do boxing day games, I bet that went down like a lead balloon.
