We should predict on how many matches WILL be played this weekend. I predict not even a handful, and thats being opitmistic.

 

Frozen pitches and fog, will cause mass postponments around the country.

agree...was minus 2 last night and the same predicted tonight...i cant see any pitches managing to defrost enough

Folks - Disappointingly our game at Buckingham Athletic has been called off today due to the hallowed Stratford Fields turf being waterlogged. Obviously this news will have them rubbing their hands at 'the mighty' Brimsdown Rovers, Cockfosters, Ampthill Town and Stony Stratford Town 'as we speak'.

Rhodes - you confused our chairman (and probably many others) by re-hashing this thread. He thought that the Edgware game was off as Gavin was the first poster. "This weekend" in the thread title referred to 23rd Dec.

It helps everyone to start new threads for latest info, as it then appears in the left hand side bar as a new topic

Doen't make any difference how many other games were off - why do you dig out OLD THREADS! Please start new ones when you need to post!
