Well he's not to be honest, 10 goals this season isn't bad though. Would be nice to have another out and out striker just incase Danny gets injured(god forbid!)

To the more discerning fan I assume you are referring to the great James Pinnock's hold-up play here...?

Never looked like an out-and-out striker, and to be fair to Pinns, he'd probably never admit to being one either - but his ability to hold up the ball, allow others the chance to get forward and maintain possession was second to none; an intelligent player with a great touch.

pinns should get at least another 5-6 this season on top of the 10 already got , but the bloke will run his heart out for us for 90 mins , he`s a workhorse on the pitch and has set up plenty for Danny this season.

Ekoku never really got much of a chance here but what we did see of him he didn't really look like a 20 goals a season man.
He is a tall lad and with Proths and Jacko in your side he might get some decent service and perform better than he did for us.
Of course Ekoku, unlike the guys we sent to the reiterement home by the sea last year, is a full-time player which probably makes it unlikely that he will follow them.

I wasn't impressed with him at Aldershot at the start of the season, just didn't look intrested.
