I for one did not see any point in keeping him, I do not rate him at all. From what I heard before, he played better in pre-season than in competitive games.

 

Still, at least he can say he's scored a goal for us!

When I first heard that Danny Ekoku signed for the club in the summer, I was impressed with the signing, thought he would add more strength to the side, especially after hearing good things about him from Crawley Town. But he did not shine for us.

 

I wish him all the best for where he's going to go next.

Are you sure...? I thought the Kent Senior Cup is regarded as 'first-team' action, hence all our whingeing last season for having to pay full price on the door...?

If I recall correctly, the Kent FA classifies KSC games as first team games, but Soho Square sees them as reserve matches (hence not being able to serve suspensions in them).

 

Most importantly, though, I classify them as first team games, because I find them quaintly endearing.

Nothing to do with the FA. The matches are first teams games for those sides below the conference, but the conference said that they were reserve team fixtures as from last season. hence they show in the first teams fixtures on the archives up to 2004/2005, but not subsequently.
