Bromley Saturday

Surely this will be our toughest challenge so far. On paper, they look a quality side but New Lodge is taking on fortress status. Think I'd make a couple of changes:

McMahon

Macca - Blewitt - Swaine - Kerrigan

Whelpdale - Game - Hunter - Dormer

Elder/Blackman/Burbridge - Flack

Whelpdale - Dormer- Hunter - Hodges

Elder - Burbridge

 

Need experience at the back. It would be great to see Nathan and Ricky play a few games together with the 2 wingers providing the crosses.

We have three tough games in a week so need to use our squad wisely. Swaine is due a run out but I certainly wouldn't put him back in against Steve Watts after the leaguie cup final. The East Thurrock game might be a better idea.

 

In midfield I go for our "first choice" home midfield. I do think Hodgie's influence has been diminishing of late but feel the Bromley game is the one where his quality is most likely to shine through. Again I would change it for Boxing Day.

 

Up front, now that Blackman has gone/not arrived our options are a bit more limited. I can't see Burbridge playing all three, so now I do play Nathan with Billy Holland against Bromley. The reason for this is that i want to start with Flack and Burbridge on Boxing Day.

Weather seems to have improved with no freezing fog in CM12, and a definate "squelch" under foot, rather than perma-frost!

 

So presumably there should be no problem with the game going ahead? Or does anyone know different?

It's lovely and warm out, no wind and the fog has cleared. Can't see any problems.
