Did I say the Haringey game would be easy? you have improved a lot since the start of the season, and yes you only lost 3-1 to us, after you had singed 13 new players, and your form has improved since then.

Do I expect you to get a result against us at home? NO, not really if I am being honest, but anything can happen in football, and anything is possible.

So the forum has becoem a 'gavin' forum since Rhodes left? well I dont think that is true, if you dont like to read what I post then DONT READ IT!!! simple isnt it.

I am NOT being big headed, I am stating FACTS, Edgware ARE 7pts clear with 2 games in hand over our nearest rivals, how that is taken by you as being big headed, its more a case of you being JEALOUS.

Edgware have had plenty of bad times, now we are having good times, just as I am sure Haringey will have one day again.

Well done Gav, Edgware were the better team on the night. You were though helped on your way by our Goalie who had a night to forget. He should never have allowed himself to be lobbed for the first goal, it was a bad misjudgement. And he actually saved the first penalty then somehow managed to let it squirm in. The first one looked a pen to me, I didn't see the second one though, as I was talking to 'Hair' who had just walked in. But I'm told it was giveable as well.Ironically the penalties came when we were having our best spells of the game, but thats football for you I suppose.

 

You did look a bit uncomfortable at the back at times, and your keeper needs to calm down a bit on the crosses. Twice he nearly knocked out one of his own defenders after coming miles off his line, not calling and getting nowhere near the ball. If he keeps that up you'll get punished eventually. But you've got the ingredient that all teams need to be successful, namely 'luck'.

Sorry spider, but I dont agree with your view of the match. I thoguht first half Manor played some decent stuff, and took the goal well, but you lack any real finnish, swaysland was quiet, chris Henry had an ok game.

 

Second half we dominated, and IMO a scoreline of 5-1 would not have flattered us.

 

You could not cope with both our pace and attack, which is why you gave away two penaltys.

 

As for our keeper, he done well, and when tested was equal to to everything, as for knocking his own players out ??? I dont think so, and as for we have the quality that every good team needs ..luck? I take exception to that, that is like you are saying we are not a good team and the only reason we are where we are is down to luck, which is bollox! You make your own luck.

Gavin i see the "nuff Said" part of the post never got a mention!! - thats the kind of big headedness i am on about, and yes i must say i used to look out for posts started by you because you could always be guarenteed it to be a good one - as to why i read them, but lately its been very piggish and big headed and told u so! To say i am jealous of edgware is a bit far fetched and again big headed i thank you for our comments about how well haringay are doing alot of work has been put in to get the stigma of a being a relegation club lifted, comments saying how guarenteed 3 points where against the borough is a kick in the teeth to those putting in work, time and effort!!

I thought you did ok, you could not do much about the goal, it was well taken and they caught us on the hop after we had a penalty appeal turned down.

Anway, you had a GREAT game on Saturday, I think it was one of your best as Langford kept you pretty busy, even though they never scored.
