Sky Sports News covering Hertford v Stony Stratford

Recommended Posts

Sky Sports News are sending cameramen to tomorrow night's Challenge Trophy game at Hertford.

They are doing a feature on Pablo Ardiles, son of Spurs and Argentina legend Ossie Ardiles. That's what happens when you have someone REALLY FAMOUS connected to a club, Rhodes. They'll be all over the club like a rash tomorrow, and everyone will be pulling up trees to impress in front of the cameras (remember that episode of Vicar of Dibley?)

Gavin - shall I ask them why they lost interest in your rematch with Harefield?

It's that time of year, very quiet for news, so they will go anywhere for a 'story' if you can call that a story!

As for losing interest in our game with Harefield, what makes you think they have??? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

They did this a few years back when we were in the same team at Hoddy for an FA Cup game. Freddie was in the squad and they did an interview with the two of them and filmed us in the changing rooms after. We managed to win that one after being played off the park at Great Yarmouth.

PS Horace, he was made captain for the day!

Looks like being deferred to another day now, as miatch unlikely to go ahead.

Looking at the 5 day forecast it seems that it might not get a chance to thaw by the weekend either!
