Ah, my fellow Gaters, as much as you vehemently oppose Rob you have to have a sneaking admiration for the way he supports the Rams through thick and thin!

 

It is easy to support a good club, a winning Club, a popular club, a fashionable club etc.

 

None of those apply to the Rams, so fair play to him.

 

I would take my hat off to him but I am saving wearing my hat until Saturdays trip to watch the planes at Heathrow!!

Thing is with Rob is that there's no middle ground. He's either a decent lad who you can have a very reasonable conversation with regarding football or,-he acts a complete c*ck, but then I suppose if you can't be like that when you're a teenager when can you?

I feel I should stick up for him here. This is genuine: although I wind him up a lot (as he does to me too), I get on with him. People, I think, just don't appreciate his wit which (although I admit this begrudgingly) is very dry and funny! Despite all that, I will continue to wind him up!
