Disputable penalty ??? you must have been at the other end as honestly it was as blatent a penalty as you could get.

 

Otherwise a fair assessment. Kieron made several good stops for you...but Matt made a couple for us. Thought Jon H-H gave your defenders a tough time up front with his pace - as did Victor when he replaced Jon. That's something you'll need to address.

 

Credit for not giving up - would have been easy to give up at 2-0 down at h-t.

Disputable penalty!! How can it be a penalty when the defender fairly plays the ball before the player falls over his outstretched leg? That finished off any chances that we had of getting anything out of the game.

I would agree that the Hampton forwards caused our defence problems at the back and the post saved us twice, however your keeper also pulled off two good saves in the second half.Hopefully some of the new players will help us pick up points to climb away from the bottom of the league.

It looked a pen from where i was, but i was 90 yards away.

Wilko went for the ball in front of the player. got it, and carried on sliding into the player. How often have you heard the so called experts say it is not a penalty because he went for the ball and got it first. The player went down through natural momentum.

 

However, some are given and some aren't. Totally depends on the officials on the day.
