Islington Gazette 15/12

Weekly round up time!

KTFC all over it like a rash again eve nthough their game was called off.

'Frustrated Town rained off again' - I can't be bothered to type out the two paragraphs that go with it.

Seems to me that the decent mens team in the area are actually Times Athletic...

Times Athletic 13 QC Aces 0

Joe Seabrook one of the scorers.. wasn't he at Hertford back end of last season?

NeutralFan - I notice that you have conveniently forgotten your round up this week when we are all over the Islington Gazette like a proverbial rash today with the banner headline 'Zanre Sends Town Second'. Can you imagine if we go top tomorrow what it's going to be like next week, our illustrious neighbours won't get a look in.

It's the paper that make up the headline, I just send in the reports and it wouldn't have been my choice, I thought Shaka Cole was our man of the match on Saturday.

NeutralFan - Have you seen the Islington Gazette today out of interest, to say we are all over it like a rash is an understatement and the article rubber stamps the fact that it was crime of the century, Myra Hindley and Ian Brady style, that the Cockfosters game was not abandoned shortly after half time following the deluge of biblical proportions.

Well that's right they did, word for word.

Well strangely enough the Journalist is particularly high profile and covers all the Arsenal games, he is arranging for Lee Scott to go to Ashburton Grove to do some training as a Community link but I'm not that enthusiastic incase Arsenal decide to give him a contract.

Even if there were any semblance of truth in your last post, this is a clear example that you do not understand Kentish Town's place in the wider scheme of things and are a long, long way from the real world that the rest of us inhabit.

I'm pleased you named the referee in your report as it means we know who he is and he can be contacted and advised that a club official has put him on a par with two notorious childkillers from the 1960's just because he did everyone a favour and kept a game going, thereby saving the inconvenience of having to rearrange it later in the season. Wonder what he would make of that particular statement? Any thoughts, Rhodes? Oh no, silly me, you don't do thinking, do you?

Potters Bar Town - Again I'm at a loss as to what you are going on about, we wouldn't stand in Lee's way if he left us for Arsenal but would you want to lose your top goalscorer to another Club mid season if you were in the running for the championship, oh sorry you're not are you, more like a relegation battle.

Has anyone seen the Islington Gazette today by any chance, to say we are all over it like a rash would be the biggest under statement of all time and there is a very fetching photo of Lee Scott who is simply on fire at present and virtually unplayable hence Brimsdown's obvious joy at last nights division 1 cup tie being postponed. Strangely enough we were planning to rest him as Saturday's game at Buckingham Athletic is far more important.
