well the tivoli pitch next door to the ground is dry, so i expect the hartsdown pitch to be in a similar condition

Todays weather started as forecast with overnight heavy rain.Still raining now but not heavy.They also forecast that the rain will be gone by 9.am & will be dry for the rest of the day & that winds will still be about with sunshine coming out for the rest of the day.Lets hope it does turn out that way. Not much rain all week here so there shouldn't be a problem I wouldn't have thought,especially if the rain stops soon but maybe Ray might need to get his sponge out in a small way this morning just to get rid of any surface water that might be about but hopefully the game will still go ahead as scheduled.Fingers crossed.
