Billericay 3-0 Tonbridge

I would second that, Rick.

First half we filthed it. With the wind against us, Tonbridge went close a couple of times and would've, if they had taken their chances. Then again, when we caught them on the reply, we had a couple of chances.

The second half was a different game. Two in one minute for Nathan and then a one two between Flack and Hunter and game over. Overall a workman like performance but one that got the deserved result.

Another good all round performance. First half, Tonbridge had the wind at their backs and had the territorial advantage, but apart from a couple of early scares didn't really look like being able to unlock the ricay defence. 2nd half Nathan's banged in two in a minute and that was that. Joe Flack capped a fine performance (made 1, scored 1 also hit the bar) with the third after a one-two with Leon.

McMahon

McSweeney Heffer Blewitt Kerrigan

Whelpdale Hunter Dormer Hodges

Elder Flack

Game for Hodges

Burbridge for Elder

Hill for Whelpdale

SNU: Holland, Worster

Forgot to add MMOTM. Toss up between Joe & Nathan. I thought they both played out of their skins tonight. Got to go with Nathan though for the two quick goals. But well done to both of them.

Well done. You put your chances away - we didn't.

Must say it's the coldest ground i've ever been to, apart from Sittingbourne in August! You could have warned me!!

Nice enough bar. Good enough service. Cheese Burger with onions was the tastiest i'd ever had. (steak sticks had run out).

Your choir behind the goal were in full voice. We didn't bring many tonight. I'd say 80 at the most. And spread out around the ground.

Again, well done

Thank you Bitch...

Rick, in my opinion, I thought Macca was MOTM. Bossed the back line to keep solid and was defending from half way in their half at times. Over the past couple of games, he has been immense in defence and last night, especially in the first half, his commitment to the cause was exactly what was required.

Flack looks like a different player to the one that started the season. Looks to be plaing more for the team now and has learnt from nathan and seems to be chasing more. I thought all three goals were good last night.

Well done to the lads, ugly first half football, but second half we looked good.

I would agree Paul. Joe is a poacher but needed to work more on the other parts of his game and he has...For me, Joe's goal was the pick of the three but that certainly doesn't take anything away from Nathan, who's goals were very well taken.

Not a bad week for the team as a whole...Three goals from the midfield on Saturday and three goals from our strikers last night...and to top that, two clean sheets - a great team performance over the two games. Lets keep it up and get our away form to match our home form.

That was a major 3 points ! Also the fact that we have conceded 1 goal and scored 12 in the last 4 league games is quite outstanding (remember the goal that was conceded was a pen too). We were not quick out of the blocks admittedly but i really do think the wind played a factor in that half as Tonbridge found the same in the second. We upped the pace in the second half and in reality it could really have been 6 last night !!

Good atmosphere last night too.

Well done lads, and well done management for instilling that belief in those young lads.

I really think there is a growing confidence about this lot.

Don't like to single out players - and everyone played well again last night - especially in the 2nd. Joe Flack's runs were excellent last night, but I would like to give a shout to the ever present Danny Kerrigan. Nothing beat him last night - and his crossing has improved significantly this season. And based on his shot that lead to Nathan's first, that elusive first goal is not far away!

A satisfying performance and another 3 points, defensively we look determined to keep a clean sheet, and I agree the full backs have been outstanding in the last couple of games.

Billy had another good game as well.

Nathan has become a lot more affective in front of goal now that he has two wingers feeding him, Joe looks to have upped his game and work-rate, this has had a positive effect on the team as a whole and enabled him to get back on score sheet.

Another good all-round team performance.

I think Leyton will be a tough game, so we will have to maintain our current determination and work-rate to get a result,

Couldnt make it last night due to work (did try and skive), but another fantastic result. We all said that December was a make or break month, and so far were making it in style. Some more tough games ahead, but the confidence in the team must be huge at the moment.

Another plus is that after our goal shy first couple of months this season, were now banging away about 3 goals a game. This i think is due to having two players with significant quality and touch on the wings, along with Nathans return to form.

Also were combining this with the mean defensive performances of our early season games, and thats (obviously) a winning combination.

clearly the key now is consistency, which weve often struggled with, but were on a great run at the mo, and hopefully we can keep it up to aim for the top 5.

Great stuff lads, keep it up.
