I apologise unreservedly to London Apsa for that slip of the finger brought about by immense annoyance at having to spend quite a bit of Tuesday night shopping at a certain Shoeburyness Supermarket instead of simply being able to walk over the road to see Manor play that fine club or being able to pop along to see GWR and Romford !

 

The missing results are due to the fact that no one has to either inform us or, indeed give results for outside competitions other that National and County ones but I am always keen to pass on any results that clubs phone in. As for friendlies, I think that is where this forum does a good job in informing us of what is going on. Congrats to Coup and others for the entirely voluntary job they do in trying to find out what is going on - but I am sure will realise it can be a most aggravating task at this time of the year. One game was called off at 7pm last night !

LC any comments regarding the farce at Brentwood on Saturday against Concord ??. The appointed ref gets called up to the FA Vase and we get no ref and one that has to come from round the corner in Dagenham but rolled up late as anything and game gets underway at 3.50!! players were warmed up about 3 times and til 3pm game was in doubt as the two linesman and the assessor didnt want to make a judgment on the playing surface. Was an embarassment
