Tonight's Essex Senior Cup tie v Canvey Island has been postponed after a pitch inspection this afternoon at the Brentwood Centre.

Weren't going too but will probably be a mixture now. Tilbury will be mostly ressies with a few 1st team squad players thrown in.

All the way up there by train (£13.30), walk from Plaistow, arrive at 6.55pm and pay my fiver. The ref turns up at 7pm and calls it off as the pitch is unplayable and dangerous.

 

This is the second time in a fortnight that this has happened to the Basildon players and management!

 

If I had known earlier I could have gone to another local game. Still, I got my fiver back <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
