... look like they're heading back into trouble. Apparently a major part of the CVA (Creditor's voluntary agreement) that allowed them to continue without folding has failed - regarding the ownership of the club. If the CVA cannot be completed they could go into liquidation meaning likely expulsion from the league. According to their message board this has to be done by the 28th Feb, meaning their last game could be at New Lodge on 22nd Feb!

Could be sharper than that Simon

With the failure of the CVA there will be zero tolerance from creditors , suppliers banks etc and virtually all dealings will be in cash

Creditors will now look to be in-line for their percentage of pay-off from sale of the club and its assets

Just seems impossible that some white knight is due on the horizon with an instant cash recovery package

I don't know if it is true, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I think we pushed ourselves (financially) too far at the beginning of the season for success in the cups. We didn't get it, so I think we might have dropped ourselves in it. Hence the selling of Roy etc.

Also, I don't suppose the lack of any games over Christmas would have helped.

It would go some way to explaining why we don't have any squad.
