It is harsh but big investors demand nothing short of success. Personally, I would have sacked half the players before the manager, several of them are just turning up expecting it to be like last year. Especially Reo-Coker - the last time I remember noticing him in a match was the cup final. And he's the captain!

I went to there last home game against Wigan and west ham were really poor no passion and no clue.

west ham have been terrible the last few games. i think Pardew is a good manager and i would like him to stay but i think they wanted to get someone in for the transfer window. it is a bit rubbish that a fortnight ago the board were saying he is the right man for the job. as long as it isnt Sven who takes over

Would be interesting to see what Alan Curbishley can do with a bit of money. What are the chances of someone from the continent being brought in though?

i cant see it being anyone but Curbishley. he is a west ham man which will keep the West Ham fans happy. i dont think he is any better than Parduew though

they keep mentioning scolari on sky sports news, but i cant see it being a foreign manager. i dont like Curbs that much but at least he is a west ham fan.

The players have cost a decent and honest man his job. The players should be ashamed of themselves. The way they've played and the lack of spirit shown is [****!!****] disgraceful. The fans should be allowed to turn up at the training ground and tell the players exactly what they think of them!!!!

 

I feel so sorry for Pardew and really hope he finds success with another club. He showed a great deal more passion for West Ham than that overpaid bunch of pricks will ever do.

The man was building something and always showed the enthusiasm that that fuc*ing Roeder never showed.

 

It is so typical of a new owner to do this and i thought the guy was geniune. He told him that he would back him and provide him funds. He didn't say that he was doing that for someone else. He said he was backing Pardew.

Only joking. I'm actually grateful for the guy taken us over but i don't want the club to become some rich mans plaything where he sacks a manager every season because we lose a couple of matches.

 

I still believe that Pardew would have got us out of it and i still had total confidence in him.

Same here. I think the players are to blame for the slump in form. After last season they thought this year would be easy. Wrong!!

I'm also sad to see him go. And agree the players are mostly at thought. But, alot of the players have been underperforming for weeks now, it seemed he never had the bollox to drop any of them. We got very lucky last year and unfortunately we have been found out this term. Every manager is ultimately judged by there results, and quite simply they haven't been good enough. So much for loyalty ! They wont get a much better manager than Pardew, and I have it on good authority Sven will be offered the job. Give me grass roots football anyday !
