Team v Tonbridge

Dilbert

I guess the only question mark could be the keeper as Ronnie not really done anything to deserve being dropped and Billy's kicking looked like he wasnt at full strength. Tough decision for matt.

Rest stays the same although I think rikki could be pushing hard for a starting place.

Good point paulc27,

Ronnie Hasnt really put a foot wrong since his run of games. Billy didnt seem to much at the races saturday, and he has only had 2 games in 3 months. I would put ronnie back in untill at least billy has had a few more games under his belt.

Huh? And he kept a clean sheet?!!!

To be fair we have been solid the last 3 games in defence im just saying, perhaps its a bit to early to chance putting someone who has only had 2 games in 3 months in goal when there is no hurry to bring him back so soon? Also i would start rikki tomorrow he is very effective when he comes on and i feel he should be given a chance of starting?

To make 2 unforced changes after such a good performance on Saturday would be a little risky Westy, dont ya think?

Everyone will get their chance what with injury's and suspensions etc,

Fair comment that. The whole squad are probably chomping to cut their rug on the grass but it would not really make sense to change from Saturday as confidence should be good presently. Only reason to change Saturday team would be for any unforseen illness or knock i would say.

Of course, i would like to think i would get a chance by the gaffer at some stage this season though

C'mon yooo blooooze!!!

Same team & bench as Saturday would suit me. Billy did seem to have a slight kicking problem though.

Immense game tonight, thanks to Saturdays fantastic result. Three points put's us right up there.

You can do it guys! Just play like you did in the first half Saturday and we can't ask for much more than that!

Considering what happened to Billy the last time he kicked a ball (for the 1st team) before saturday, im not surprised his kicking wasnt up to his usual high standards, im sure it will improve though.

Yes, I was suprised (and a little hurt ) at that "ordinary" comment. I think they underestimated the effect of the wind in the first half and how much assistance it provided them.

Got to give them credit for ignoring me though in the rest of the thread!! Perhaps that's a tactic I should learn from
