As the SSML's last representatives in the Vase, I hope that Edgware get a home draw against one of the poorer teams left in. What time is the draw, Gavin?

Thanks for that Horace. I think the draw is around 12ish, last time I found out on here when it was posted in a thread I had started.

 

I will be on the FA website around that time refreshing the page to see if they have the draw up.

It was at West Ham's ground - but couldn't go!
It was actually 2003-4 ,time flies - we got to the 4th round draw because we drew 3-3 with Keynsham Town (lost replay on pens at 10.40pm, 153 miles from home!)

Inconsolable Coops! We had been in front twice in the home game, and 2-0 up in the replay!

? at 1.40pm? eh? was that the time of the game or the time of the draw?

 

Was Upton Park the venue for the final that season?

 

I wonder how many people get invited from each club, and from which round the FA invite?

 

Do they choose select clubs or invite everyone left, I would imagine a lot of club officials could not make it, maybe those London based would pop along.

 

If we get futher and get invited and a few can go, I would pop down to the FA HQ, would be fun.

 

I think the FA will name the venue for the final in January, as mentioned before there is still a chance of it being at Wembley <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

 

Did you play from the 1st qualifying round that season?

Yeah, but the year that Horace said he was invited to the draw held at upton park, was the final there as well, as I know they held an FA vase final as well as Trophy final there.

I still dont understand doh!!, was the draw at that time, the game? what was at that time?

This was the time our 3rd round replay game finished after extra time and penalties, at Keynsham near Bristol. Because it went to a replay we were in the draw for the 4th round, held before our replayed game.

I had a look online but cant find any odds.

66/1, thats GOOD odds, maybe I could do a double with my £10 at 6/1 to win the league...

Is that bet still on?
