I would say thats an accurate report. A bit of luck for us that their top stirker failed a late fittnes test, as he had scored in the previous rounds. Thats football though.

 

I agree that Adam Wallace had an excllent game, and that ex pro Junior Lewis had an important role as he has that little bit of class that a player who has played at his level has.

Gavin - Congratulations, what was their ground like, from one of your pics above it looks a lot smaller than I imagined and very rural.

Not too great, a big main stand, in the old fashioned style, but no terraces anywhere else in the ground.

BTW, Halstead have an EXCELLENT programme, the best I have seen so far this season. They had an 8 page special on their previous games in the Vase with photos and reports, very good, and only a £1
