Best for me not to comment further with regard to the above Peter, lest the soapbox ban is extended to my goodself. Think it's unfair for us to use the forum of our good friends at Ricay in order to get our points across.

What a performance! What a game!

 

Thanks to everyone for a brilliant evening. It's been a while since I was at the Lodge now. Must've been a few years ago. Last game I saw was against Hendon away in 2004 I think. But finally coming back "home" was nothing but fantastic.

 

Hopefully it won't take this long until next time! Thanks again everyone for a brilliant evening - the Christmas party included :-)

Despite having the worst name ever, i totally agree with Yid claret, i havent made it too the new lodge all season...partly due too last 2 months being up north and partly due to now im back im working in a bar on saturday to sort some money out. The new year will be a different story.

 

Hopefully ill get to see a load of good performances and a playoff spot at the end of year

Well, I understand there is a parallel in the natural world, Gazza. When a bird of paradise or canary escapes from it's cage into the garden it can be pecked to death by the dowdy sparrows and starlings....

Bit late now maybe, but back to the football for a second. I thought that was probably the best performance ive seen from the lads this year, was absolutely delighted with the result.

 

Not gonna type a huge match report cos its all been said already, but just like to emphasise what a great signing Chris Whelpdale was. Hes impressed me ever since his debut, and seems to be getting even better. Hes only young so lets hope he can keep up the great performances and we can keep hold of him.

 

Having said that, there were too many good performances to mention yesterday, so shouldnt be singling people out.

 

Well done lads, great result
