so orf we went to waltham abbey on a cold and wintery day....upon arrival I walked onto the pitch and frankly the game should not have been played which of course was a great leveller..

 

but play it we did against a very hard working and committed wabby well up for the big day and the visit of the mighty urchins...

 

not a pretty game and daggsy will report as usual but an excellent hard working performance from the lads and three points as we wizzed orf into the cold night....kris lee my man of the match and macca and purdie as excellent as ever....

 

such days and nights away from home are championships etched from...

 

nice club and nice people and good to see old pals again... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

About right Unc, not too pretty, get the 3 points and f**k off home, sh*t ground but cheap beer. Agree thought Lee gave 100%.

I suppose there is always one person that will like him <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Hasbeen.

 

Will you miss him when him and I become partners.................at the biggest club in Havering

UNC to be fair the pitch is not the greatest but the game was well playable. A sound and affective HX performance and i congratulate you all on that but Jordan now owes me £50 for all the balls he kicked out the ground.

Good to see Nette before the game but was not quick enough from the dressing rooms to meet you.

fair enough mate just my opinion.....no slight intended..as I said your lads did well and worked hard...

and jordon lost the bet that he could get 12 balls out of the ground...but he was close... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />...

thought he had a good game actually under the circumstances and both back lines did well in conditions that could have caused mistakes there..

hope to see you at ours and we will have that drink... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Excellent performance on a difficult pitch, that I guess was borderline but I'm glad we played. Defensively we were solid with Dale making at least one superb save in the first half.

 

Second, we bossed and as Tree and others have said before Kris Lee worked like a trojan to make sure their back line was never safe. Have to say a close runner in MOTM was Andy Tomlinson who does deliver a brilliant cross when required.

 

A very good 3 points.
