got there at 2.45 only for some old boy on the gate to tell me it was unlikely the game was going to be on, the two linesman had said the pitch was unplayable and they were waiting for the ref to turn up at three(!) to confirm it was off. so i buggered of to basildon v beaumont, wish i hadnt bothered <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

bas did what they had to, missed the first goal as was late but beaumont were truly awfull, there number 4 was the worst player ive seen in the esl.

English Partnerships have dropped the primary development but have not yet removed the compulsory purchase order on all the sports grounds and dwellings in the Gardiners Lane area.

 

However they are still scratching around trying to find some cash that hasn't been sucked up by the Olympic Games overspend to build a secondary development. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

 

They have said that they will make a final decision on this in the next two years!!! So it's 16 years of planning blight so far and as the club cannot show ten years proof of tenure, the club continues in the doldrums!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />
