Finally finished 6-1 and if it wasn't for an excellent display by the young Sam Long in the Ilford goal it could have been a whole lot more - kept out some efforts that I cannot believe didn't go in. Could quite easily have been at least nine.

At times we just ooozed class this afternoon - our overlap play and some of the distribution across the pitch was top draw. My only criticism was that on occassions we looked a little to relaxed on the ball!

I was worried in the beginning that the guy whom I thought was man of the match at Harlow, Jon Stuart, was the same player as he looked a tad uneasy in the first 5 or 10 minutes. Once he settled he did a superb job at the back once again not putting a foot wrong. I don't remember him losing a header this afternoon and capped off a fine game with a deserved goal.

Another tough game away to Enfield next week - but confidence couldn't get any higher

Yeah, quite annoyed we conceded, but all our players were in their half and it was on the break.

Ilford were really crap. They basically let us do what we wanted to do after the first fifteen minutes - before that it was just about us getting a foothold in the game. Their 'keeper was on top form, which with a 6-1 scoreline, should tell you how badly the rest of the team played.

they wont be as bad as Witham Town.

We've played Witham Town and won 3-0

Then again we've also played Tilbury and lost 2-0 some of the teams in this league seem to up their game against us

A Non E Mouse, we're home to Enfield next week not away.

Thought we were superb today. OK Ilford were awful but you still have to beat what is put in front of you and at times we were a joy to watch today.

Jay took his goals superbly and is in fine form at the moment. Leon took his goal well and Ruggy has finally recaptured his goalscoring form.

Lee Jay and Bourney absolutely frightened the life out of the right back today and both were outstanding. Clyde Roberts also deserves credit for some great play on the 6th goal.

Jonny Stuart got a well deserved man of the match award putting in a great performance and scoring a good goal.

Great atmosphere today and at the moment everything is coming together nicely. The inconsistancy of two months ago seems a world away. We are definitely the team to watch out for in the next few weeks.

Couldn`t ask anymore from the players, Ilford may not be one of the better sides in this division but some of our play Saturday was outstanding. Well played all

I think we got a bit of help from the referees assistant for our 1st but we never looked back after that and as has been said before Ilford can thank their new keeper for keeping the score down.

Decent attendance again (compared with the rest of our division) and with entertainment like that i`d hope we could get a few more through the gate.

Fantastic result, I thought it was a typo when I first read about it.

I can't believe all this praise I'm reading about Jon Stuart, is this the same player as the beginning of the season?

I hope the unbeaten run continues next weekend, which will be my first game since Witham.
