Guys

What is happening to the club that I love and follow from a far?

I am reading these messages and its a sad state.

Are the Rebels close to folding?

It all rather depends on the present owner (and owner since 1998) whether he wants the club to continue or not. The supporters trust is in the background ready to take it over, but with little money and no ground the prospects are not good.

It would mean the club dropping to lower leagues and rebuilding. Look at Wokingham, Maidstone, Dartford, Oxford City for examples of that. Notable exceptions to this of course are AFC Wimbledon, but they were on a sound footing with their support base.

Some good news would help!

Its so sad as I followed Slough since I was 5 enjoyed highs of Bromley away, Fa cup draw at home to Reading, Stevanage away in Trophy, it all seems a distant past.

This should not happen to a Town this size and the old Ground at the Greyhound would be a ideal development, but without money, a strategic direction or support of the local authority its hard.
